Shans Lanka Travels was founded in 2020 in Negombo by Madhushan Sandaruwan, who holds a Diploma in English, a Diploma in Multimedia, and a certificate in Travel Company & Strategic Management. His specialisation in personalised travel experience design, communication and digital media strategy, and strategic business planning shaped a company built to put every guest's preferences first.
There is a particular kind of traveller — the cultural heritage seeker who wants authenticity, not a shelf package; the family who wants a guide who understands their language and expectations. Shans Lanka Travels was built precisely for them, with the founder personally involved in itinerary design, guide vetting, and service quality across every tour.
